My overall experience with these headphones has been absolutely great. Everything is as advertised. Definitely worth the price. Delivery was very fast. Would recommend 100%.
These are a very good pair of wireless headphones, especially for the price. I got these during the Christmas sale for $70 and these are great in every way. They have fair noise cancellation even though they weren�t rated for it and and very loud (some people say they are too quiet) these also have a good design. The only quip I have with these is that after a while it kind of hurts you ears (it�s because they go on top of not over) 10/10 very good headphones.
Very happy with these headphones! The ear pieces are super super soft so they are extremely comfortable even with glasses on. The sounds is super good, bass is strong and sound is loud. Some reviews say the sound level is low but I did not find that to be the case.
Very good sound, impressive bass, but a bit uncomfortable after long sessions
PROs: Connectivity - Quickly connect to Bluetooth with NFC. I don't think I'll go for BT headphones or speakers again that doesn't have this feature. It pairs so effortlessly and quickly this way. Sound Quality - Crystal clear. Very impressive bass sound. For Bluetooth headphones, I thought the richness of the sound was impressive. Smarts - Can connect to Google Assistant or Alexa. I can't speak for Alexa, but with Google Assistant, I can tap a button to have it read my notifications and reply to texts through the headphones. I can also use voice to skip/pause songs and control the volume. This sort of feature I would generally only expect in higher priced model headphones. Headphones app - You can manage a lot of the settings, including sound modes, get the battery level and more using the Sony Headphones smartphone app. You can also control the music playing through this app. Price - At just under $100 ($98 at the time of this review), they are worth it for the quality build you get. Sure, they aren't active noise cancelling, but I wouldn't expect it at this price. CONs: No Hard shell case - While the earpieces will fold to a somewhat flat state, I'd be nervous if I were to carry these in a loaded pack or duffel when travelling. Moderately tight on the ears - After extended wear, they can start to get uncomfortable. More so than fully over the ear headphones. The way the earpieces swivel does help mitigate that and keep it relatively comfy. Overall, I'm very pleased with these Sony Bluetooth headphones. They are a good upgrade for someone looking for better quality sound, but don't want to spend the extra for active noise cancelling.
These are so comfortable with the padding and the swivel function. I can get them just perfectly situated over my ears. An adjustable headband that clicks into place means no flopping around. I thought the sound was very crisp. Links easily to Alexa. Comes with easy to read instructions and has a good range. Quality materials means you�ll have them a while. Has a great battery life and charges quickly. The USB charger is included.
My husband always complains that headphones don't have any "bottom" but he can't say that about theses. The bass is so solid that it overpowers the upper ranges. The app comes with an equalizer and he played around with that for about an hour to get the levels he preferred. To be honest, he was never able to get the bass he wanted and still have all the upper ranges, but it sounded great to me. He's a little hard of hearing from too many years playing with a band so I think his lack of upper range clarity comes from his lack of hearing more than the headphones. We did compare these to several other headphones - very old BOSE and a set from BoneIn. They were much better than BoneIn and almost as good as the BOSE. If you want bass, these are you headphones.
