I’ve used Spigen cases for years now and I’ve continued to try a few others, but I always come back to Spigen. If you’re looking for something minimal, but that still protects your phone and feels premium and good in the hand, then you will not be disappointed with this Spigen phone case. It has a nice grippy texture and it just feels good to hold! My main concerns were: 1) I wanted something minimal. I didn’t want to make my phone twice it’s size with a big fat chunky case. 2) It’s got to have a good grip. I did not want my expensive phone slipping out of my hand; wet or dry. 3) It’s got to feel good. If it’s something that I’m going to hold all the time, it can’t feel uncomfortable or give me hand fatigue. 4) It’s got to look good. Hey, aesthetics matter! This one checks all those boxes! Very satisfied! If I had one critique, it would be that I wish it came in more than two colors. Other than that, I highly recommend this case for minimalist!
Pre-ordered two Spigen cases for my S23 Ultra to give me options when the phone arrived. Before the phone arrived I preferred the feel of the Tough Armor case but once the phone arrived and I felt how the weight and heft of the phone affected the handling I went right for the Liquid Air. It’s much easier in the hand and provides just the right amount of corner and drop protection. Plus the button feel on this case is great. The texture on the back looks like it would be annoying but it’s barely noticeable and adds a perfect amount of traction.
Pros: Overall, the case itself feels like it’s at just the right protection level to make the phone feel secure. Enough grip on the back to make it easier to hold. Front screen protected while laying flat. Cons: Edge protection for front screen hangs over the phone just enough so that it actually catches the edge of the screen protector (Amfilm tempered glass UV). It started to pull the protector off. It might have actually been when I was putting it on because it seems like it has the edge covered. The 2 smaller lens are the highest points on back when the Spigen lens protectors are on.
it’s a nice case. I had the same type for my S21. good feel and good quality. my only complaint is around the camera hole punch out. it feels like the material juts up a bit around each camera cutout. the material feels slightly sharp around each camera hole like it needs to be sanded down. This doesn’t affect usage but it’s a noticeable detail when compared to the smooth feel of the rest of the case.
