It was excellent. The case provides good grip without adding any bulk. That’s what you need in a good case. However it is not the best case if you are a habitual phone dropper. In that case you need a tougher case.
This is the second Liquid case I have owned. First one for the Note 20 Ultra, and now the S22 Ultra. The Note case was a bit more grippy on the sides. Not to say that the new one isn’t grippy enough, because it is. I do love how the new case wraps the cameras, it looks sleek. I know my phone is "in good hands" (well not mine) because I have dropped my Note 20 Ultra probably a dozen or more times. Sometimes on the sidewalk, sometimes on tiles or carpeted office floor. It has held up, never cracked, and the case still looks spanking new. (See pics)
I like the look and the minimal design of the case. However, I don’t feel like it’s much protection and it has been very slippery with not much grip.
I’ve always used the more rugged version of this case, but thought I’d give this model a try when moving to a larger phone. I am extremely pleased with the fit and quality of this on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. The raised bezels around the camera lenses offers reassurance that I can set the phone nearly anywhere and not needed to worry about damage. The case fits the screen perfectly, and does not interfere with the screen protector that I’m using. I feel like it gives the phone adequate protection from reasonable drops while still maintaining the original device size very closely. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering this model. I’ve had 5-6 Spigen cases, and all have been of great quality.
This is a very simple, low profile case that shows off the phone very nicely. If you want something simple that shows off the phone’s natural beauty, then look no further. It isn’t super bulky yet at the same time, it provides adequate protection against accidental drops. I also like that around the camera, they cut around the individual lenses instead of making one big rectangular cutout around all four lenses. It’s the perfect case if you don’t require a lot of stylization and just want to show off the natural look of the phone. I would’ve added two things though: more texture on the back and the edges of the case, for a no-slip-grip, and also an option to have a built-in kickstand. Other than that, this case is fantastic.
