First time Pitaka case buyer. So far thrilled with my Pitaka MagEZ Case 2 purchase. You are absolutely spending a premium on ‘style’ as opposed to protection, but for those of you who are relatively careful with your devices, I think you’ll be fine. I wanted a case that would highlight - not hide - the phones beauty. This case does exactly that! There is a lip on the case, so the phone screen/lenses don’t sit flush on surfaces. The magnets are stronger than I expected and seem to even add additional support for MagSafe accessories (such as my Apple Wallet). The case feels ‘soft’ to the touch. It’s very hard to explain, but it almost feels like a plastic fabric (I know that makes no sense, but you just have to exp it!).Compared to cases in Best Buy, mobile phone stores, etc., this case looked leaps and bounds more luxurious than everything I saw in person.Worth the buy if you have the extra coin!p.s. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with their customer service. They proactively reached out before I even received the case to offer support.

Extremely durable and minimalistic case. Different texture than anything I’ve ever tried. Smooth yet strong grip. Magnetic properties set the industry example of how to make a case that will be hard to beat. When coupled with other Pitaka products such as mounts or charging station it stays put. No adding chunks of metal between your phone and case. The wireless charging capability also is top of its class. I first tried their products a few years ago on a chance as all others had failed in some fashion, not Pitaka. The cases for once outlast my phones. Aesthetically pleasing, easy to hold and while extremely resilient they are not bulky and heavy. A hard feat to achieve. After my first one I’ve bought nothing else and will never buy anything else. 4 phones in my household with Pitaka cases, 3 vehicles with magnetic wireless charging mounts and a charging station that will charge two phones, my Apple Watch and IPad simultaneously and effortlessly and I’m not even using it to it’s full capacity. The only phone/watch combo I’ve ever tried that actually works. All other failed charging the watch or both. The cases and charging stations are optimized to work together. Customer support is top notch. I had a suction cup that failed after some time of use and just mentioning it got a direct contact from their support team and a replacement on the way. I can’t recommended their products enough. Photo is of rear of case as the minimalistic build can’t be seen from the front and barely on the sides. All edges are raised just enough to prevent contact with surfaces when set down. A lot of thought went into the engineering and production of their products.

I just received my new iPhone 13 Pro max and PITAKA MagEZ case 2 with new car charger in the mail on the same day, and I was so excited when I got all the packages. YES, new Case + new car charger are EXPENSIVE and both cost me $130. wow. However, after I installed the case and tested the car charger , I think I am fine with price.I guess I still followed the similar experience like last year, I couldn't get the MagEZ case Pro for new phone at first couple months, so I had to purchase the MagEZ case first. probably will by the MagEZ case Pro next year, that's right, another $60. Yikes~~~Initially I didn't know this year PITAKA had a crucial change on the charging system until I read the whole product description, so I noticed I couldn't use the original car charger anymore. well, I had that original car charger since 2018, so it had been served me well. I will post another review on the new charger later.Regarding the MagEZ case design, I think their design team did some fine tune on the new iPhone case1. it has good protection on the camera lenses. As you can seen on the photos I took, the camera lens protector sits maybe 2mm higher than the camera lenses, so I don't need to worry about scratching the glasses when the phone is sitting on the desk and it overall dimension still fit into a slim category.2. light weight and soft touch texture. Although I don't know what 1500D aramid fiber is, I personally feel it is light like the last year design ( I have both MagEZ case and MagEZ case Pro for my iPhone 12 Pro Max), and the texture feels soft when I touch it and it is not slippery at all when I grab the phone. This is a good case if you don't drop your phone frequently, or you may want to wait for MagEZ case Pro.3. Precision cut and fit the screen protector I had purchased. The front edge of the case sits a little bit higher, maybe 1mm to 1.5mm, than the phone screen protector, so when I put the phone faces down to the desk, it will not scratch the screen protector. In addition, the case Edge well protects the edge of the phone but it will not interference with the glass screen protector. as you can seen from my photos, the case wraps the edge of the phone, and it doesn't touch the screen protector at all.4. The MagSafe magnets inside the case are STRONG. I had read some reviews saying the magnets were weak, so I had a little bit concern if I should purchase this case. However, after I received both case and new car charger, I just did a simple shake test, and I personally felt the magnets were really strong. Right now I had to worry about the mechanical watch on my wrist, so the magnets would not magnetize my watch.5. Snug fit. I think its part of precision cut. the Phone sits inside the case really tight, and it took me a while to figure out how to take it off from the phone. Yep, I had to try hard to take it off.Overall, I believe PITAKA still keeps its good design on the iPhone cases, and I had been using its products since iPhone Xs Max. I agree with other reivewers, the price is in the premium range.

So I’ve been loyal to Pitaka for a few years now. Own more that half of their products. All have been fantastic. Now that I order the case for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, it doesn’t work with any of my car mounts or holders? I have 5 vehicles and they all have charging stands or docks. Will not work with them now. Looks exactly the same as the previous iPhone 12 Pro Max Case but somehow this one doesn’t work???
This case was nonuniform–it doesn’t sit flat around the edges of the screen. Pitaka customer service refused to return item until thoroughly I documented the defects with photos, and even then, they refused to provide me with a mailing label. I had to ship via USPS to an address, which cost about $10.
First time Pitaka case buyer. So far thrilled with my Pitaka MagEZ Case 2 purchase. You are absolutely spending a premium on ‘style’ as opposed to protection, but for those of you who are relatively careful with your devices, I think you’ll be fine. I wanted a case that would highlight – not hide – the phones beauty.
