I’ve used other PITAKA products so when I saw they released a watchband, I knew I had to give it a try.The first thing you notice when you open the box is the weight, (or lack of weight); it is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter than any other band I own, (and I own dozens).The next thing is the clasp. I was unsure of how effective a magnetic clasp would be but the magnet is only there to help you to get the band to close; it is held in place securely and you have to press both sides of the clasp simultaneously to remove the band and I haven’t had any issues with the band releasing unexpectedly.Also worth noting is the sizing system. It is very simple to remove links using the included tool to ensure you get just the right fit.And last but not least, the fit and finish is exceptional and carbon fiber just looks so cool!The only negative is the pricing, it is on the expensive side but you get what you pay for; I would have no issue recommending this band to anyone looking for a high quality watchband that stands out from the crowd.
The watch band is on my Apple Watch 44 mm Series 6The fit is excellent, i really like the magnetic clasp, feels super solidThe band is very lightweight and i love the way the band can be lengthened and shortened, feels like they thought this throughThe contents of the box had everything needed, i had to take out 3 links for it to fit me perfectly, took a few seconds and no issuesIt looks really good and feels great on the handThe fitment on the watch is i would call “decent”. Its not perfect like an apple product, but close enough where i do not see it being and issue.I again, want to mention the clasp, Pitaka did a great job here, as the clasp is solid and requires both side to be unlocked in order to be removed, this will help with accidental one side unlocks, so the watch stays putJob well done Pitaka, and if you have their other products, the finish is identical so it compliments the cases perfectly
This is the lightest easiest most comfortable band I’ve ever owned, if you adjust it correctly you will never buy another type again, add the watch cover to complete the set and make sure you get the correct size as they are not interchangeable but fit is perfect.
Very nice band I absolutely love it.I’m a mechanical engineer and do lots of different work, normally I sweat during my work and the only issue I’ve noticed is the magnet rusting, not sure why but it’s rusting and seemingly disintegrating, pretty disappointing, I’ve had this for less than a month, otherwise it’s great, but if that magnet goes, then it’ll probably fall off and won’t be usable anymore.I don’t deal with harsh chemicals or saltwater, so I’m sure it’s not that, probably just a bad magnet.
