I've used other PITAKA products so when I saw they released a watchband, I knew I had to give it a try.The first thing you notice when you open the box is the weight, (or lack of weight); it is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter than any other band I own, (and I own dozens).The next thing is the clasp. I was unsure of how effective a magnetic clasp would be but the magnet is only there to help you to get the band to close; it is held in place securely and you have to press both sides of the clasp simultaneously to remove the band and I haven't had any issues with the band releasing unexpectedly.Also worth noting is the sizing system. It is very simple to remove links using the included tool to ensure you get just the right fit.And last but not least, the fit and finish is exceptional and carbon fiber just looks so cool!The only negative is the pricing, it is on the expensive side but you get what you pay for; I would have no issue recommending this band to anyone looking for a high quality watchband that stands out from the crowd.
